Qatar and Saudi Arabia have reinforced their commitment to enhancing security and military cooperation, as the two nations’ interior ministers met on Thursday in Riyadh. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), engaged in discussions with Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior.
The meeting occurred during the fourth session of the Security and Military Committee established under the Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council. Both ministers reviewed the committee’s agenda, focusing on strategies to bolster their bilateral relations in security and military sectors.
The discussions culminated in the signing of the minutes from the committee’s fourth meeting, which formalized the outcomes of their deliberations and underscored a shared resolve to strengthen ties in these critical areas.
