Qatar has strongly denied accusations made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it is orchestrating a campaign to sway global opinion against Israel. In response, Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, dismissed the claims as an effort to shift attention away from Israel’s own policies and actions in the occupied Palestinian territories, which have significant humanitarian impacts. Al Ansari stated that the shifts in global public opinion are not due to any campaign led by Qatar, but rather are the result of people witnessing events directly.
Al Ansari urged Israel to reconsider its policies, adhere to international law, and accept responsibility for the repercussions of its actions. He emphasized that Israel should not attribute the criticism it faces to Qatar or any other nation.
