CALGARY, Alberta — One year ago, Calgary got its first taste of authentic Texas barbecue when Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened at 55 Castleridge Blvd NE #156. Now, the team is celebrating their first anniversary with the community that made it possible.
“From family dinners to game-day feasts, Calgary has made us part of their lives,” said franchisee Jamal Kayani. “We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our guests.”
Since opening in 2024, Dickey’s has wowed locals with slow-smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and classic sides like barbecue beans and creamy mac and cheese.
The Calgary location is part of Dickey’s worldwide mission to bring the taste of Texas and southern hospitality to communities everywhere.
